Could the dryer be replaced for deep conditioning? Hair forum members are going bananas over hair steamers. Steamers stimulate the scalp, improve blood circulation, prevent hair breakage and hair loss. They also supposedly give the hair a more moisturized feeling. I tried steaming a few days ago at the salon and let me just say that it's just great. Would I buy one for home use? Probably not. There are other methods you can use to give your hair a steam treatment. For instance, You can wrap a hot wet towel over your hair and sit under a dryer for a few minutes.

Hair Steamers: Yay or Nay?
