Prepping For A Relaxer

So far, you've been getting some good growth and have even gotten better at retaining length, right? Now, you're ready to relax your new growth but at the same time, you're scared of overprocessing your precious strands. Don't fret! The thing to remember when relaxing is that you are dealing with a chemical that can still cause some damage, so protecting your hair is vital. Try rubbing some castor oil or any oil of your choice to your already processed hair, not your new growth, to protect it. This will keep the relaxer from running down your hair strands when you are washing out the relaxer. Doing this for every relaxer will have some major benefits. I've been doing this for a while and have noticed some thickness to my ends.
