okay, these were the crowds at 5:00 a.m. ... the inauguration ceremony started at noon.people were using handwarmers, feetwarmers, blankets, or just huddling together to stay warm. it was in the low 30s, but with wind chill it felt like 10 to 15 degrees!!!the FBI/Secret Service were NOT playing games... there were sharp shooters on the roofs of multiple buildingsthe navy, marines and air force
